Effective collaboration is key in the marketing world. Tools like Basecamp, IM, and email make the world go round for most web entrepreneurs and creatives. Still, If I had to pick one online collaboration tool I absolutely could not live without, It would be Google Docs.

After reading a somewhat out of character post from Aaron Wall, I thought I’d emphasize his point about how Google strives to improve productivity.

Most creative professioanls have some sort of ADD, either naturally or out of necessity. This creates a need for intense organization…and in many cases…staying organized does not necessarily mean one is being productive.  SEO Sumo learned that lesson the hard way.

Our once humble Miami SEO Company has grown dramatically the last few months, which  forced us to adopt new methods of working with multiple partners (simultaneously) and organizing/implementing complex projects while keeping lots of people in the loop. What started as a need to consolidate feedback on project components (i.e. approvals, thoughts, creative solutions, and copywriting) evolved into a tangible project collaboration process based around Google docs. How did we do it? well…this video pretty much explains it all!
