Google Maps is one of the coolest tools ever to find houses and apartments currently on the market.
You can search for nearby schools, restaurants and public transport, explore the neighborhood in Street View or simply get directions from the property to your favourite places – all from a single map!

I am in the process of using this tool to find an apartment for myself and all i have to say is Google Rocks!
I see all Real Estates websites incorporating the google maps tools to their sites in one form or another.

    Makes for a good story but Sam Sebastian was misquoted. He said he would not comment when asked about Trulia but said, “What I can say is that Google is actively acquiring one to two companies per month”. NOT one to two “real estate” companies. If they bought one to two real estate technology companies per month they would have most of them bought by the end of the year.
