Deleting the non-working software from your computer

The folder you have to delete is in your home folder -the little house icon-. In there, look for Library, and inside it search for the Mail folder. There you’ll have a bundles folder. Delete the httpmail.mailbundle inside it.

You can also hit command-shift-G while being in the Finder application -click the desktop to get there- and paste the following in there (replace “yourname” with the name of your account, e.g. “Kayla”)

/Users/yourname/Library/Mail/Bundles

Click GO and you’ll get there. Once there delete the folder httpmail.mailbundle

If the new mail doesn’t come out, call your ISP (whom you pay the internet bill to) and ask them how to set it up properly in order to prevent their servers blocking the needed ports.

Enjoy it.
