Another case of augmented brilliance
The shift towards truly mobile access to high speed internet is showing signs of growth in relation to it’s demand while Tech pioneers are experimenting with new forms of technology in an effort to expand the wireless realm to…well…everywhere!
So what does this mean for the search marketing community? First and foremost, it has everything to do with the evolution of social media as a marketing/communication mechanism.
I think it’s only fitting the first adopters of this technology are video game enthusiasts/developers. David Griner over at The Social Path blogged about how “video gaming has become a community experience”, and he honestly couldn’t be more right. But what’s most interesting about the growing demand for mobile media applications is the culture which evolves around them.
It’s natural for each social community to make something it’s own…especially online. We’ve seen examples of this in the facebook, iphone, and twitter realms. Is this indicative of the way mobile media will ultimately be consumed? Could there be a coming wave of innovation set to revolutionize the way mobile communication exists as a technology prone global culture?

They’ve read our minds. Will they do it with the next version of Sims too as we predicted?
